Jing, unafraid, reached out and stroked Li's head. "You don't have to be cursed. If there's a way to break this, I will find it."

Li's heart swelled with a rare hope. "There is a way, but it is fraught with danger. Only the purest of souls can free me from this curse. You must find the heart of the evil that cursed me and release my spirit."

With that, Li revealed the location of the nobleman's ancient and abandoned mansion, hidden deep within the misty mountains. Jing, driven by a sense of justice and a desire to free Li from his eternal prison, set off on a perilous journey.

As the final blow was struck, the nobleman's eyes widened in shock and then, as he crumpled to the floor, he released a single word: "Release."

Jing nodded, a sense of accomplishment filling his heart. "I have freed you, but the journey is not over. You must find your own path to peace."

Li nodded, his form slowly fading into the light. "I will find my way. I will honor your sacrifice."

And with that, Li's spirit was free, his body left to decompose, but his soul now free to wander the earth, seeking peace.
